Monday, June 9th, 2025. Meeting called to order at 7:00p.m. by Mayor Chuck Hildreth. COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Brand, Flott, Hargens, Powers and Schmidt. Fire Chief Peterson present.

RESOLUTION 124-2025 / Approval of Increase in Cyber Security Insurance Coverage. Motion by Flott to approve, seconded by Brand; Hargens, Powers, Schmidt, all ayes. Motion carried.
DISCUSSION / Gravel Driveway. City is trying to eliminate gravel as it washes onto city streets and costs time and money to clear out. Resident in Powells will be given two weeks to hard surface the gravel placed in their drive. Will also need to call in a locate for gas line, etc.
DISCUSSION / Shady ATVs Water Connection. City has been made aware that the water meter was located inside the old building. Mayor will contact PeopleService to discuss plans for new meter. Also spoke to owners to move debris from blocking view of the highway.
FYI / Sheriff’s License Place Reader to be placed at the corner of Pokamoke and Old Mormon Bridge Road. This is not for speeders.
FYI / Vets Monument Eagle Cleaning happening tomorrow.
FYI / State Check Received for Ball Diamond Repairs. File is closed.
FYI / Crescent’s ZIP Code Day coming 5.15.26. Discussion on what we can do to celebrate.
MAYOR’S REPORT / Working with insurance on Vets Park sitting wall damage. Spoke to young resident of GHI. They are using the outlot as an ATV dirt track which needs to stop. Working with PeopleService on the lagoons as they are full. By end of June they will be back down to where they need to be. Hole in Grove St. near bank has been fixed, but will add more. Replaced GFI on entrance sign. Need to cut pipe as there is nothing there. Craig will order signs. Will need updates on asphalt work. DNR is looking at address in Escancy.
MAINTENANCE / Report submitted. Sewer hood fixed. Wheelchair swing fixed. Cracks being sealed. Craig is doing extra work on sewer/water over the weekends. Complimented on flags.
PEOPLESERVICE / Report submitted.
PARK BOARD / No Report.
CVFD / 162 calls so far this year. 4 new members who are wrapping up training. Changing billing companies on the 18th. Pancake feed this Sunday.
PUBLIC FORUM / Audience member called Pott Co. Roads about a pot hole. Also asked about water main shed. Discussion about ash trees in City.
